The My Kinda Life® Foundation - For Teams

SIMPLE & POWERFUL Leadership Development Programme - Helping Teams Create a Competitive Edge From The Inside-Out

How individuals meet and treat themselves determines how they communicate and collaborate with team members.  Being aware of one’s inner self-talk and emotional template is an imperative for team healthiness, solidarity and efficiency.

If individuals within teams secretly have an inner narrative that is brutal, and unforgiving it creates rigidity and friction often without people realising what’s happening.  Also, if team members constantly disallow their full emotional responses to experience, they inadvertently disallow it in their colleagues.   This means people not only struggle to work alongside each other it can devastate team formation, communication and growth. At it’s worst inner brutality poisons a good teams cohesion, working capacity and sustainability.

In this programme team members learn the foundation of human connection, reduce inner brutality, increase emotional breadth so that they can be compnaionable to themselves, their experiences and their colleagues.  They will empathise with and relate to others with ease – laying the foundations for being effective, productive and appreciated team members.

This unique leadership development programme guides teams through the methodology outlined in my book My Kinda Life® to help change deeply held beliefs and behaviours that now don’t serve the team’s mission, so that individuals can become more effective team members and find more fulfillment and happiness in their work.

THE MY KINDA LIFE® FOUNDATION PROGRAMME-TEAMS

Month 1 - Your Unique Team Template

Discovering Inner Brutality Templates

In the first month we explore the ways the inner brutality of your team members scuppers efficient working, success, and prevents everyone from enjoying their work. We discover your unique team template; identifying areas for attention, so that team members can create new ways to the positive impact you seek.

Month 2 - Emotional Palette Extension

Embracing Uncomfortable Emotions

We all leave childhood and enter early adulthood with an emotional palette suited to our family style. This most often means we are less comfortable with certain emotions compared to others. To lead a happy and fulfilled team all individuals can benefit from extending their palette to include all emotions. This is a fun and illuminating We focus on strategies for this in month 2.

Month 3 - Installing Companionability

Challenging Deeply Held Beliefs

We make decisions about who we are based on what we’ve been through. Learning and installing companionability to yourself is essential for empathy with others. Companionability with all your experiences creates a competitive and resilient edge to your teams. This is a rarely tapped resource that the My Kinda Life® Foundation Programme allows teams access to.
